My story
Hello, I'm Paula Deen. I'm an estimated 8-10 year old Chihuahua. My friend, Rachel Ray, and I came into the AAHS as strays. We are your typical Chihuahuas. We love our people, but tend to shy away at first with new people. I am oh so sweet once you know me though. Since being here at the shelter, I haven't met any other dogs so I'm not sure how I would do with them. When other dogs walk by my kennel, I do bark quite a bit. The staff isn't sure if its barking as in "hey, let's play" or as in "hey, give me my space!". Even though I am up there in age, I would make the best friend for just about anybody. I do love me some soft treats though, they're the best! Rachel and I would love to go home together if possible. Come meet us and maybe you'll just fall in love!
